Top 10 Reasons You Should Attend the Terpsichord Thanksgiving Concert

As the senior co-presidents of Terpsichord, GPS’s modern dance company, we are super excited to share the “Top 10 Reasons You Should Attend the 2022 Terpsichord Thanksgiving Concert,” as follows: 

1. You can witness the strong bonds between dancers formed through Terpsichord.
2. Terpsichord is Tennessee’s oldest school-based modern dance company.
3. The concert takes you on a journey through life and allows you to reflect on your own.
4. Almost all of the dances are choreographed by students and are unique, centering on a subcategory of the overarching theme.
5. The dancers have been working hard to prepare for this concert for two months to make it the best for our audience!
6. The dancers’ ability to turn, jump, lift, and flip is captivating.
7. The concert portrays an array of emotions—curious and playful, supported yet confused, and wise and reflective.
8. The piece that includes the whole company pays tribute to those who have come before us, allowing us to thrive. 
9. The duet with the co-presidents of Terpsichord is an ode to the consistent people who stay in our lives despite the chaos that surrounds us.
10. Terpsichord is AMAZING!
