During her time at GPS, Tia Guster ’99 took full advantage of the variety of offerings available to her. From dance, yearbook staff, and Robinhood to track and cross country, senior orchestra, Umoja, and more, her education extended far beyond the classroom. By the time she graduated, she had developed a true passion for lifelong learning, leadership, and community service, which meant the next phase of her journey came naturally.
Guster attended Emory University for her undergraduate and then went on to UNC-Chapel Hill for medical school. She returned to Emory to complete her OB-GYN residency and today serves as the OB-GYN Chair at Piedmont Newnan in Newnan, Georgia, where she mentors and practices full time.
